Yay I’m so excited! Award season is back and that means I get to write blogs about fashion!! I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I do writing them. Granted I really don’t have much expertise in the fashion world…but I like to think I’ve done enough shopping, magazine reading and watched enough Project Runway and Tim Gunn’s guide to style to have some sense.
Once again- I am completely in disagreement with most of yahoo.com’s choices for worst and best dressed. I mean really!! don’t they have any sense of style?? luckily I was watching the fashion wrap up last night and some of my opinions were shared on that show too…so yeah I was pretty excited about that.
Alrighty! time to start critiquing!!!
Oh Vanessa- Disney and every tween in the world may love you but I don’t. I cant believe Disney still kept you on the payroll after your naughty cell pics incident!yahoo loved this dress…I hate it. It reminds me too much of the naked glitery bodysuit britney spears wore in her “Toxic” video. hhmmm…coinsidence?
Next time Vanessa choose a dress that’s not the same color as your skin or go get a tan.
Susan Sarandon- You rock as an actress but I’m sorry they really shouldn’t allow pants of any sort at awards functions like these. True you rocked them better than Glenn Close….but you are NOT …I repeat…NOT Katherine Hepburn! It’s been done. Now go back to the glamorous Hollywood we know and love please!
Renee Zellweger- What were you on when you thought this was a good idea? Didn’t you notice that the designer forgot to create the top half of the dress? Watching her was like watching an episode of project runway when the designer cant finish the dress in time so they slap something together in the last 5 minutes. Nasty!
I disagree with everyone though about her hair. I kinda like it. it is kinda prom-esque but at least it’s not like some people who completely forgot to do their hair for the show…..keep reading for those comments.
Miley Cyrus- Now she’s one from the Disney Kid Star Factory that I don’t hate as much. Even though the whole Hannah Montana craze is like whoa I think she has some good comedic timing.
Yahoo.com hated this dress. I don’t think it’s all that bad. The material underneath could almost be pillow shams but the stile is quite nice. although I wonder if Billy Ray knew that this is what she wore….I have a hunch he would have told her to put a sweater on because her girls are about to pop.
Megan Fox- Once again- this dress reminds me of prom. reminds me of my junior prom dress actually- but mine was navy and I don’t have any fugly tatoos of Marilyn Monroe on my forearm either. Seriously girl- at least have enough sense to get some concealer or start an arm-warmer trend! Even pay the photog to photoshop it out!
and I don’t know what that green thing is around her wrist….once again, quite tacky.
Mary Louise Parker- I LOVE this dress! I love the color and she is skinny enough that she can pull off the pleats on the dress! Her only problem is that she must have missed her hair appointment from over sleeping or something…cause that looks awful!
Kate Beckensale- I love this dress! although I think there is a Search and Rescue team out looking for her chest….I think it got lost.
Jennifer Lopez- Oh my gosh this dress makes me want to vomit. yahoo.com loved it. WHY???? Who told you that this was a wise choice for the Globes??? is it the Golden anniversary of the green dress incident and you are trying to honor that moment in your crazy public life? Ridiculous is what this dress is. I would think being a mom now would teach you to have better sense than that.
Heidi Klum- my theory behind this choice is all in her husband Seal. She was listening to Seal’s greatest hits and then Kiss from a Rose came on. She loved it so that she insisted on finding the most hideous dress with an ugly butt rose on the front of it. So thank you Seal for this piece of work…. 
Is she pregnant again? cause if she’s trying to hide a baby bump she aint sucessful at it!

Evan Rachel Wood- I’m sorry- I hate this look. It’s nasty to me. I can’t stand the whole tierd fabric in the skirt like that.
Im so ashamed Evan Rachel…..you got to sing Beatles songs and make out with JIM STURGESS in Across the Universe!! Show some class woman!
Eva Mendes- Someone help her!!! Her dress is Puking fabric!!
Seriously- I love everything about this look except for that front nastiness.
Drew Barrymore- I love you girl but seriously!!! Two words- TRAIN WRECK! I hope Cover Girl is re-thinking her contract. Her hair was a complete mess, and this dress??? I think she asked E.T. to choose her dress, this is what he found (his finger was glowing and everything) and went with it.
A lesson to those choosing a formal. never trust an alien. You will look like this.
Debra Messing- I think this is one of my top looks from that night! Yeah it’s not the glitziest, but its elegant with a bit of edge! I do like the way the pleats were done. yahoo hated this. are you suprised?
Cameron Diaz- Thumbs up on the color and top half of the dress….thumbs down on everything else! can she at least do her hair? or I bet if someone let out that crap of fabric on her hip it would look a lot better!
And the shoes make me want to Vom!
Beyonce- Holy Crap!! talk about Bustin out! get this woman a sweater!!!! I wonder if Kate B’s chest is hidin in there too? and ya with all that leg too- that equals trash.
Angelina Jolie- And finally- the look that made me want to gag the most!!!! Why does everyone love this???? It does absolutely NOTHING for her! It gives her a tummy when she doesn’t have one, no chest what-so-ever, and just hangs there with no purpose!!! her hair looks horrible. If you are going to wear it down, please do something with it! she just looks like she’s trying to be emo without the bangs! NASTY!!!
